Hello! My name is Jillian. I started Tranquility Tax & Accounting Solutions in 2024. I have spent over 12 years working in several small to mid-sized public accounting firms in both Illinois and Colorado. I specialize in working with individuals and small to mid-sized businesses in many industries to achieve their business and financial goals.
My path into accounting started all the way back in high school, where I took a few business and accounting classes before even attending college. I knew early on that I was good with numbers and had an aptitude for business.
I continued on to receive an Associate in Science Degree from South Suburban College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Taxation Degree from the University of Denver. I am proud to have passed the CPA exam, old school on paper, on the first try in the year 2000.
I am a sole practitioner who focuses on personal service, rather than amassing massive numbers. I love getting to know people and I enjoy helping individuals, families, and local businesses problem solve to save money and succeed in achieving their goals, putting their minds at ease. I create personalized services to build long-term relationships with practical solutions. You work hard, and life is demanding. Outside of crunching numbers, I am constantly on the go. In addition to being a CPA, I am also a certified Practical Homeopath, certified Biofield Tuner and certified Reiki level I and II Practitioner. At Awaken the Vital Force, I offer homeopathic consulting and homeopathic workshops and Biofield Tuning sessions. In fact, ask me about my energy work, as it relates to money and finances! I homeschool our four children and I love cooking. I also teach people how to make fantastic kombucha at home and I am active in the local Weston A. Price Foundation Denver Chapter.
